Synopsis: Based on true events, tells the extraordinary adventure of mountaineer Aron Ralston 26 years (James Franco), who survived after hitting the rocks, hurting his arm and trapped inside an isolated crack a canyon in Utah in 2003. Throughout the day, Ralston remembers his friends, lovers (Clémence Poésy), family and two hikers (Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara) who met before suffering the injury. Over the next five days, Ralston struggle against the elements and his own demons to discover in the end, with the value and means to get out of there as, down a wall of 20 meters and rising 13 km before finally being rescued.
