Nvidia GT 530 - First details released
Nvidia has used CeBIT 2011 to announce its 3 new GeForce series graphics 500 which hit the market soon, starting with the impressive dual-GPU GeForce GTX 590, the Geforce GTX 550 Ti , which we discussed here , and new graphics for low-end Geforce GT 530 call. According to early rumors, the GT 530 is based on the chip GF116, GF106 successor of the current used in the Geforce GT 450 . This new chart is to be the replacement of the recently launched 440 GT Geforce , which we discussed here, which is characterized by having a poor price / performance / watt (The AMD HD 5670 is cheaper has better performance and lower power consumption). The GT 530
promises to solve the problems of and habrise 440 GT in the low-end market currently ruled by AMD HD 5670. The model of the Geforce GT 530 shown at the CeBIT 2011 Afoxé assembly belongs to a little known brand in our market, and incorporates custom cooling. As the GT 440 and below, the new graph does not support multi-GPU SLI mode. The number of processors will be 192-SM, although there are rumors that that number could be increased to 240. As the departure date, the Geforce GT 530 is rumored will be released in mid-June. As that date approaches, we will know more details as the official specifications and performance compared with other competing graphics.
