2011 Buenos Aires International Design Festival 2010-videoperformance-
Jaguar installations, project selected for the event.
"jaguar, Panthera onca Palustris"
installation is basically a conceptual structure of a 5:1 scale geometric model of a "Jaguar" which is in serious danger of extinction (there are 250 copies), ie a model abstract 5 times larger than the reference animal. In practical terms is the development of several construction diagrams that are implemented by means of metal parts. The construction of a model in a non-conventional size would be like a small demonstration and reporting on the possible disappearance of the fauna of Argentina, the "performance" at least try to create a reflection on the problems concerned about the issue in general and the Yaguarte the Americas in particular. Design Festival in the structure consisting of several parts assembled in the end is a "totem" or sculpture with a particular place for exhibition, contemplation and ultimately to generate a critical reflection on the various attendees. It is our desire and our small demonstration constructive.
